Each year, the Lancaster County Community Foundation hosts Extraordinary Give, a regional day of giving, highlighting the incredible generosity of our community. The Lancaster Conservancy is proud to have been part of this uniquely Lancaster event since its inception. 

We rely on the funds raised during ExtraGive to continue the mission of the Conservancy – and that’s where you come in! This year, we’re encouraging passionate supporters of conservation to become Extraordinary Give Fundraising Champions.  The goal is simple – spread the word about your passion for our work to your friends and family and encourage them to make a donation on November 19.  

This website has been designed with you in mind – this is everything you need to have a successful ExtraGive Day!

General Social Media Tips

1. Use photos! We have provided some simple graphics for your use or you can share photos of your favorite natural spaces!
2. Include your fundraising link in all your posts to make it easy for your friends and family to find your page.
3. Tag friends and family so they can see your posts (and so can their friends and family).

Instagram Tips

When you share on Instgram, use your personal photos from adventures on our preserves (or a favorite nature shot)!  Make sure you follow @lancasterconservancy and keep up with our postings – you can share our posts and our stories and just include your words.

To include your fundraising link on Instagram:
1. Add link to your bio (great to reference when sharing a post)
2. Add a “link” sticker with your fundraising link on your Instagram stories

First, log in to your GiveGab page using the email and password you used to register. Under your personal fundraisers, you will see Lancaster Conservancy, ExtraGive. 

VIEW – This will take you to your personal website (what people will see when they click your link). 

DASHBOARD – This will take you to the backend of your personal page – information that only you can see! Your dashboard is where you can personalize your page, track your donors, and even send emails.  

TELL YOUR STORY – This is where you can edit your page! You can add photos and include your personal reasons for supporting the Lancaster Conservancy. This is also where you can adjust your personal fundraising goal. 

REACH OUT – This is a way for you to quickly send an email to your friends and family, telling them about your efforts to raise funds for the Lancaster Conservancy. This email will look like it comes directly from you (from the email you signed up from) and responses will come directly back to you.  

SHARE SOCIALY – Access your personal fundraising link to share via text, email, or on any social media platforms.
